Home sweet home - 750 of them!

McBains Cooper has been appointed by BELA Partnership Ltd for a £52.5m project located in Corby, Northamptonshire.


The Priors Hall project has just been awarded detailed planning permission and comprises 750 new homes on a greenfield site. It is proposed to be partly funded under the HCA Kickstart Housing Delivery Programme.


McBains Cooper is providing architecture and urban design.


The scheme is due to start on site early next year and is due for completion in 2015.


BELA Partnership Ltd is a joint venture between Bee Bee Developments, a property development company specialising in urban regeneration and Lagan Developments, part of the Lagan Holdings Limited group, with a turnover of £481m.


The £400m Kickstart Housing Delivery programme was announced in the 2009 Budget - targeted at currently stalled sites to support construction of high quality mixed-tenure housing developments.
