Upwards and onwards

A new £2m airport lounge for Etihad Airways has been completed by McBains Cooper at Heathrow’s Terminal 4. The new 750sqm Business and First Class passenger Lounge comprises VIP lounge, SPA, bar, buffet restaurant and prayer room.



McBains Cooper provided project management to the scheme.


Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates. The airline was set up by a Royal decree in July 2003, with Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, as its hub. Etihad started commercial operations in November 2003.
