Graham Clark has joined McBains Cooper, the leading design and construction consultancy, as Director of Architecture.
Graham will be based at McBains Cooper’s Oxford office, but will have a national responsibility and remit contributing to the activities of all seven UK offices.
“I’ve accepted the role for several reasons, but one key element influenced me: McBains Cooper’s pioneering, progression and establishment of an ‘interdisciplinary’ service – an approach which, as an experienced professional with a good few years under my belt, I see as being the future of design and construction consultancy.
“McBains is also a rare creature in the construction sector: growing and profitable - key traits that clearly have a very positive impact and influence upon the whole attitude and approach of the business.”
Graham, from London, joins after 13 years with Tate and Hindle, but has been in design and architecture for 30 years, including running his own practice.
His specialist area is in design and build of hotels and offices, and he has been responsible for 12 hotel design projects in the UK, including Arora International’s first hotel at London Heathrow for British Airways crew.
Graham is married with two sons, and his interests include sailing and mountain biking. |
