Leading inter-disciplinary consultancy McBains Cooper has completed a new research and devlopment building for Servomex, a world leading supplier of gas analysis solutions, at Crowborough, East Sussex.
The 4800m2 two-storey building comprises laboratory and testing facilities at ground floor level with offices above
The project was delivered on time and within budget which has resulted in further commissions for Mcbains Cooper
“The project included major Civil Engineering works including temporary bridge facilities, cut and fill operations and earth retaining structures as well as the development of a permanent culverted bridge,” said Paul Cowton, Director at McBains Cooper.
McBains Cooper also provided so called ‘clean rooms’ with sealed walls for the laboratory areas which comprise 25% of the building.
McBains Cooper provided civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering services to the scheme.
Tebbott and Wells Architects provided architecture to the scheme. |
