Expanding our Mexican team

Our Mexican team continues to grow with the addition of Arnoldo Jaime Orozco and Felix Cañez.

Arnoldo Jaime Orozco, a civil engineer and project manager with international experience, joined the company last November.

Before joining McBains Cooper, Arnoldo worked with Bouygues in the cost analysis and engineering for the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme in Tower Hamlets as well as in a number of project for private sector clients. Arnoldo is responsible for the Owner's Representative services for Prudential Real Estate projects in Monterrey, Mexico City and Ciudad Juarez.

Felix Cañez, an architect specialized in sustainable construction and a LEED Green Associate, joined our team in August 2011 as a member of the architectonical supervision services for 8 federal prisons. From January 2012 he has been working with the Owner’s Representative team and leading the Sustainability and Quality control services of one of the most ambitious projects in Latin America, financed by Prudential Real Estate: Mitikah.

Mitikah is a mixed-use development in the centre of Mexico City to be developed in 4 phases. The first phase, currently under construction, includes a residential tower and a private hospital. The second phase comprises 6 different buildings, including office space designed by Richard Meier and another residential tower that will be the highest building in Mexico and one of the ten tallest buildings in Latin America. This tower will be designed by the renowned architect Cesar Pelli (responsible for the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur). This project is financed for Prudential Real Estate  a leading financial services and asset management organization with operations in the United States, Asia, Europe and Latin  America.
