Santiago Klein
Managing Director, McBains Cooper International
Santiago, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a post graduate professor of the Institute of International Economy, is Managing Director of McBains Cooper’s growing International division.
With over 15 years experience of managing professional teams and advising clients in major infrastructure projects on the technical, financial, legal and regulatory sides, Santiago has been involved in major infrastructure projects throughout Europe and Latin America within the airport, road, port, education and healthcare sectors.
Santiago has acted for governments, investors, banks and private companies on the development of infrastructure projects and programmes, the auditing of major projects and the resolution of disputes arising out of long term concession contracts.
More recently, Santiago has been managing inter-discipline teams acting as auditors for the Senior Lenders on the M-30 project in Madrid, the largest PPP in Europe with a capital investment of 4 Billion Euros; the development of the healthcare infrastructure programme of Mexico; and the strategic plan for the development of Public Private Partnerships of the Greek government.
