Michael Richards
Associate Director
Michael is a key and integral member of the McBains Cooper Leeds office. He has worked in the region and the North of England gaining a wealth of experience in several sectors over a number of years.
Michael has undertaken a number of employer’s agent roles in the region including retail developments, office refurbishments and a new facility for Huddersfield University.
Michael has also taken leading roles in a number of social housing projects including the “Model Village” at Creswell and Shiregreen in Sheffield, acting as contract administrator, quantity surveyor and employer’s agent.
More recently Michael has established himself in the Yorkshire and Humber region, particularly within the Financial Services Sector working closely with The Royal Bank of Scotland on four of their major call centre refurbishments and Yorkshire Bank on a diverse range of projects including commercial warehouses, grade A1 office blocks and residential apartments.
Michael has built up a network of contacts within the Finance sector and with local developers. He has been employed as Development Monitor on over 30 projects throughout the Yorkshire region working with RBS, HSBC, Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank, The Heritage Lottery Fund and The Arts Council of England.
