Robin Merchant
Associate Director
Robin, a chartered building surveyor with over 25 years experience in all aspects of the property sector, has extensive experience in refurbishment, maintenance management, term contracts, facilities management services and in providing Expert evidence and acting as an Expert Witness, in respect of building defects and other construction related matters. Robin specialises in undertaking condition reports whether at pre-acquisition stage or as part of a maintenance regime and regularly becomes involved in the implementation and monitoring of the necessary remedial works.
He has worked extensively in the retail and leisure markets providing advice on dilapidation's, party walls and major refurbishments. Robin has also provided professional advise on special projects for the Police, the Prison Services, the Health & Safety Executive and the Lord Chancellors Department. He has a successful track record with achieving Lottery funding for new sport facilities and an in-depth knowledge of Listed and Historical Buildings.
